Spatial documentation of artefacts and 3D models creation

Information

  • Place: Departement of Archaeology and Museology, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech republic
  • Language: Czech
  • Semesters: since 2012
  • Open to: all (Bc, Mgr, PhD)

Objectives

The main objective of this course is to present to students new 3D documentation methods of the archaeological finds. At the end of this course students should be able to create 3D models of archaeological artefacts both by 3D scanner and photogrammetry on their own. Theoretical and technical support (manuals, tutorials …) will be avaible in e-learning, the practical part of the course (workshops) will be focused on the 3D documentation of various kind of artefacts.
